LPJG5000ps4, the wooden Lamborghini sculpture by Pieterjan Ginckels, makes its last journey from the studio in Oostende to Ullersmo Prison in Norway. Built within the NO BULL project, the work has circulated in exhibitions and events as an art car, a sound system, and a PlayStation racing shell. Its last performance is the trip itself: an overland road journey to Norway, undertaken publicly and for the closing chapter of the work.

Upon arrival in Norway, the sculpture will be reassembled once more, on March 7 at Lord Jim Publishing in Kristiansand. Sound will play from its boot, drinks will be had, and the Relic Display Editions will be cut out of its bodywork. After this, the sculpture will be used as a mould for a new work, MIRAGE, to be built with inmates in the prison workshops. The moulding requires the destruction of LPJG5000ps4; the sculpture will not survive the process.

Art Edition

Get your hands on this hard body! Selected fragments from the cut‑up panels of LPJG5000ps4 will be recycled into a limited art edition: the Relic Display Edition. These pieces are now available individually at the PJG SHOP. Select your preferred body part from which the artist will extract a piece. The piece will be mounted in a relic display, including a serial number, a certificate of authenticity, a signed photograph of the car, and some exciting extras.

The final journey of LPJG5000ps4 to be gifted to Ullersmo prison is an intense trip. Your collection of an edition supports this act! Pricing depends on the body part (from flank to spoiler). The displayed images are for illustrative purposes only: the final act of cutting up and out will decide the eventual shape and size of the relics.

Timing + handling

The cut-out performance takes place at Lord Jim Publishing in Kristiansand, Norway, which is the first Norwegian art space reachable upon disembarking from the ferry. Cuts will be made on 7 March in front of a live audience. Processing and shipping or pickup will be organized in late Spring 2026.
